Success is a major goal for everybody. Being successful can however be challenging. The challenges associated with success have often made a lot of people to be afraid of failure. This fear of failure in several cases became the major reason why some people were not successful.

Faith and Patience
It is often difficult to predict the outcome of what would happen in the future. We therefore have no choice than to have faith and believe that everything would be fine. Subsequently, we would have to be patient and watch each day unfold with its opportunity.
Faith also involves believing in ourselves and our ability, which would help us to take advantage of the opportunities each day presents, towards achieving our goal. In some cases, we might have to take paths that we are not familiar with or that are risky. It is through faith and patience that we would be able to successfully follow through this path to the end, irrespective of the outcome.
It is very important to know that there is no harm in trial. Not trying at all and you have failed. Trying and you are already on your way to success. Even if you eventually fail, you would have overall being more successfully in achieving by task, by just taking a step, compared to if you did not take a step at all. Trust your inner guide
You should always trust your feeling and yourself. In most cases, we often have a feeling of what we should do when we get to a particular crossroad. We should learn to trust these feelings, even if they feel like illogical at that moment. There are cases when we could follow these feelings and meet dead ends. Despite the dead ends, we might have learnt one or two vital lessons in regards to our goal.
Furthermore, we can be sure that we would also get new insights on what next to do from that dead end. Trusting your inner guide would also help you develop it. A lot of people have failed because they did not trust their selves or follow their inner guide.
If your mind should conceive a dream, you can be sure that everything you need to achieve that dream is hidden somewhere in your subconscious, you just have to tap into it by trusting your inner guide. When you can fully trust your inner guide, you will no longer be afraid of failure.
Never say Never
It is important to never say never whenever you have a dream. Giving up has always being the reason a lot of people never succeed. Some of these people actually gave up when they were just at the verge of succeeding. Having a dream and working towards it does not mean you will not fail.
There are cases when you might make mistakes. You should however be able to learn from the mistake and continue what you were doing. Like it is popularly said, the problem is not falling down, the problem is refusing to stand up after you have fallen down. If you fail 99 times, then you should have the courage to dust off the failure, at least 100 times.
You should continue to work towards your dream until you achieve it. Having the never say never spirit would make you not to be afraid of failure, because you will know they are bound to come and that the fact you failed now does not mean you will fail again.
Be focused on your goal
The fear of failure can sometimes make us to try to avoid activities towards achieving that goal. To compensate for the avoidance, we try to put up a lot of other activities (which are not related to the dream) to keep us busy all day.
Doing this would make us not to move forward as we would become stagnant, while losing time and opportunities we require towards achieving the dream. It is thus important that we stay focused on our goal as that will help us to keep fear in check. The focus would keep us going even in the midst of fear.
Keep your eyes on the goal
Knowing the outcome of the things you have to do would help you to check the fears of failure you are feeling. When the thought of I can’t do this comes up, you should remember what you want to accomplish and the effect it would have. This would encourage you to continue putting in more effort towards achieving it.
Know the cause of the fear
There are many reasons for which we can be scared of failure. The reasons could include having failed at similar tasks before, knowing about people who failed on similar projects before as well as the difficult nature of the project amongst others. When you know the reason, you should be able to take deep breaths, relax and then face it.
You should encourage yourself that you are good enough to successfully complete the project and that those who failed, failed due to their mistakes and the fact that they gave up. You should be able to convince yourself that you are different and that you can do it.
You should know that regrets are worse than failures
You would always tend to regret in the future if you have a dream and you didn’t make any attempt towards it because of fear of failure. Making an attempt, even if you failed, would give you the joy that you tried your best. Not making any attempt however would lead to regrets that you could have been successful only if you tried.
The regret is worse if someone else (perhaps not as talented as you are), later achieves that dream successfully and is well rewarded for it.
Overall, you would sometimes have the fear of failure. You should however be able to stay focus and continue to strive to achieve that thing no matter the level of fear. Just make sure the fear does not stop you from continuing. Furthermore, you should also ensure that the fear of failure thus not make you take drastic actions that could damage all your effort.
